Small Groups

Small Groups are an opportunity to grow and develop our understanding of the Bible and to fellowship with others in our journey. Below is a list of groups available at New Haven. These groups meet every Sunday morning (9:45 am Fellowship Time, 10 am Groups Begin).

Children’s Small Groups

Small groups for children ages four through fifth grade are held from 9:45-10:45.  We offer a variety of age appropriate, interactive class room experiences that engages your child’s individual learning styles.   For safety reasons, parents or a designated guardian must sign children in and out of small groups.

Our nursery is available for the younger children.  It is staffed by loving adults and youth who have been background checked and trained in safe sanctuary procedures.  In addition, all Nursery staff have received infant and child CPR training.

Adult Small Groups

Room 185 This class focuses on the exploration of Scriptures through study and discussion. We seek to find new knowledge and insights and making our discoveries part of our daily lives.  Our current study is “Short Stories by Jesus, the Enigmatic Parables of a Controversial Rabbi” by Amy-Jill Levine.

The author combines history, literary sensitivity and a dash of humor. Hear Jesus, speaking to a Jewish audience and 2,000 years later challenges us to look deep into our own lives.
