Warmest greetings to you! Welcome to the family of New Haven United Methodist Church, where the Spirit of God is alive and at work!
These are exciting times at New Haven United Methodist Church… exciting because of the great things that God is doing in our midst…exciting because of the amazing ways our congregation is living as the “Body of Christ” not just for each other, but throughout the world. Through ministry at New Haven UMC, we are making a difference in the world, and in the lives of others for Christ.
We invite you to come and discover that New Haven UMC is truly a family church. A church where people share lives together, learn together and laugh together. At New Haven, we touch others through worship when we offer each week a moment of communion with God…through Fellowship when we surround others with the Body of Christ…through Discipleship when we offer the opportunity to study and explore our faith…through Ministry so others can see God’s love in action…and through Evangelism when we welcome others to join us to serve. We are committed to making a difference for Christ not only in our community, but in the world.
I am excited about the many ways our congregation is living as the Body of Christ. We have one of the most active outreach programs you’ll ever see. We have a heart for special needs children and their families, we offer ourselves in service to Restore Hope, Redemption Church, the Day Center for the Homeless, Child SHARE, Operation Elf, the Down Syndrome Association, Angel Tree, and so many more.
God is calling us to change lives, to reach out and touch lives with the good news of God’s love and grace. And I can’t think of a better way to do this than to be with one another along the way. It is my prayer that our faith journey will lead us closer in our relationship with Christ, so that we might know the love of Christ, that surpasses all of our understanding, and be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3:19)
You’re invited to come join us for worship and get to know us. We offer ourselves and our hearts to you in Christian love with gracious acceptance… and grateful service. Come, walk with us in the journey.
